Ok, so I heard that we may and almost will be getting a Roleplaying world with Heroes and Factions basically, now, as we previously had Lost world it wasn't all as good as some roleplaying servers I have seen, we had weird names, Such as my title *Bitch Xeronaile, or *Mother Xeronaile* and it got boring after around 4 weeks of gameplay. So I might suggest we should also get a job plugin (Keeping the feel of vanilla), or having roles and the Staff moderate the rolls and see if they are reasonable and are related to Roleplay (That was just an example). Anyways, instead of just having it being survival minecraft, heroes and stuff like MCMMO with Factions like we had with Lostworld, we could get jobs, such as Dairy salesman, hunter, Etc.
I noticed that when me and Korthic were fooling around with Heroes on his server, we had a few classes with unique abilities that could possibly go along well with a job plugin. We can also set up custom classes (Not that hard, you guys should try creating one). So basically to sum up the mumbo jumbo that confuses most of you mortals, I am saying jobs as usual people would have in mid-evil times, such as Dairy seller, hunter (Sells Leather and other goods) and somewhat like an NPC village that matches the theme of whatever they want to be. I viewed the slide about Kenpachi willing to devote his free time to creating a branch of Roman/Norse villages, you all could inhabit some of those villages as one of the main factions and have fun.

This is simply a suggestion, you build your own village, you make your own jobs (Title em in factions?) and you create an empire like the badass faction Kahn.

Now these jobs would not only be a plain NPC recruiter that gives you a task, you mine it and sell it to them for profit (Somewhat boring, right?). With this idea it gives you the unique way of building personal shops and keeping it Roleplaying/vanilla with factions. It's a great combination. For those of you who have played Skyrim you can basically set yours up like Windhelm and have someone own the great hall or whatever you want to call it and rule their city.

This is a suggestion thread of what content we could INCLUDE (Not add immediately cause it so awesome omgzors) but what you think we could benefit and have a good time with if and when this world shall be released


I didn't see a little thread about this particular subject but It seemed worthy of creation to give our admins an idea of what we could add along to the basic factions and heroes to give us some great RPing experience.

Voxel Chat!!!!(its a bukkit plugin )
it'll give RP world more of a mmo feeling with chat boxes above players heads, its very easy to apply and it's very usfull when the chat gets crowded and you're trying to talk to your butt buddy right next to you in game.

Know what was cool? When it added the "F**" infront of the faction name, and Count made the faction "king". his name showed up as F**king Countypo

Yep Josh that's why I think we should take RPing a bit more serious when we are playing it. If it is not a Rp world, then this thread was useless, but it was to give ideas.

I was playing on an RP server where you would only be able to see the text people would be saying in a certain block radius depending on if you shouted: /s. If you whipered: /w. or just plan talking. It also added a very suspensful feel to the RP where you could be whipering about an assasination or that sort of thing.

Hmm. That's Serious Roleplaying, that may be classified as Heroes chat (I heard something like that).
You should have an option to toggle it then.
