Vanilla and server updates

If you noticed the server was down for half hour today.
I've updated it to the latest bukkit and updated some plugins.
Showcase plugin is almost fixed so hopefully it will be back up in a couple of days.
Also put back Vanilla world from our temp server from the last update. Right now you will not be able to go there but I tested it and so far it works with our multiworld plugin no problem. In the next couple of days I will fine tune all of the plugins so that particular world will be 100 percent vanilla. The biggest problem would be disabling mccmo just in that world, that is why its taking so long.
Pvp will be enabled in that particular world...well.. because it is vanilla. We will have protected area in spawn and maybe some small protected safe areas all over the map.

Kommy can I make the request that you get LWC or something in the "vanilla" world? Maybe set it up so only ONE double chest can be locked? So there's a tad bit of protection.

Sounds awesome, can't wait for the new world. I do agree, with Nico, I would like at least 1 locked chest, to put something like Diamonds in. Maybe (Later on) Enchanted stuff. Random question, is this a copy of the temp server world? With all the houses that were there, and grief? Or a new world with the spawn MC edited in?

Vanilla, from what I have heard is completely without plugins, no matter what, the temp world we had was pure vanilla, which was the funnest IMO, so I think it should be kept without plugins.

If you want to keep some things safe, make an ender chest. That way the only thing people could do is break it, but ur items will still be safe.

Meh, if there's no protection at ALL, I'm not likely to be in there. Greifing will be too prevalent

EZ Im working on it. Im trying to enable vanilla world first and see how it goes and then slowly figure out pvp because I would hate to just turn it on and then sit back and have everybody bitch at me or our staff. We need to make sure people choose to be in pvp or not and we need to make sure they can not just change their mind in the middle of pvp. At the same time I'm getting tired of veterans or people that have been on the server for a while just standing around and "raping" new people that join the server. We loose new people that way. So either we can have them request just like membership on these forums for pvp and we turn it on for them or pvp plugin that allows them to turn it on and off but only after a certain period of time.

Sorry EZ if I came accross angry. Its the way I talk and post stuff. Im not pissed at you and its fine to ask. Just wanted to let you know we are trying to get pvp back on but we trying to figure it out on how to do it. So nobody pissed off at you at all, lol
