yes for the tempserver! this helps my butthurtness with the no pvp for awhile so i dont campaign for it in the main server. its also a nice way for everyone to learn about the update before it comes out so all have experiance beofre entering the main server. Plus this gets a ton of hackers and greifers found and rid of.

Olav, if we make a temp-server it's partial Anarchy. Any form of PvP is allowed besides Spawn. If they grief we investigate nearby houses and then work our way down.

I don't think that temp servers very well show the features, while yes we can test the new stuff, that all falls under the "Eventually" category, as we have to get all the stuff we need to test anything anyway. (Such as an Anvil ect...) So I would say no.

Well, I feel a bit crushed right now. xD Well well I am glad I told people my option even everyone says yes for a temp server. The temp servers is pretty cool in the beginning but didnt you guys remember in the end? The server was totally empty and if people joined they just jumped around spawn waiting for main server to come up. And I was one of them pretty much. xD

Since it will most likely be a new temp server for 1.4.2 I want to say that I will join it because I think temp servers is fine if I have no choise. :P

So uh, Bukkit 1.4.2 was released today. When's the old map coming back?

you do realize that there are like 30 or 40 plugins that we have that also need to be updated? I mean... you can check bukkit.org and see posts and posts and posts of people saying that plugins do not work, errors and such.
I might start testing bukkit and plugins on the current temp map first because I do not want to mess up our current structures.
Usually we can do without some plugins not working but the major ones we need to work from the start.
