HHHUUGGGEEEERRERER lag

ok so heres the thing

i log on expecting to enjoy a nice relaxing game of minecraft ... as you do

but instead im faced with the worst lag like ever like innit

the type of lag that after 30 mins of walking and boating you end up where you began when you relog

and the type of lag that when you use a single ender pearl on full health, dont fall from any hight and die... in the middle of nowhere... unable to get your stuff back because the server thinks your in one place but everything fucking else thinks your actually where you are (even the dynmap)

and also the type of lag that after a while of traveling with no noise suddenley SPLASH SPLOOSH SPLOOSH SLASH SPLASH SPLASH CRUNCH CRUNCH CRANCH CRUNCH UGGGGGG UGGGGGG (insert skeleton noise here) all at the same time

this is making minecraft SO unbearable to play

i have lost a good amount of decent items and im a little mad :/

I started experiancing the lag only today and im guessing its something to do about the crash junkie had yesterday... because i know for sure its not my end ... ive done speed tests ... rebooted the router and even tried sitting right next to the bloody thing.

im wondering if anyone else is having this problem

so if you are experiancing this i would love to know (so i dont feel lonely cos its only happening to me) and if you know what the problem is i would love to know that too

this has been my rage / moan / cry / crazy / poop post about poopy lag

Check it now. I changed network card and i think one of my switches had a dead port so i used different port. I will probably move server closer to router and bypass that switch alltogether tonight after work

Yeah I've been experiencing this for the past couple of days now. It's not near as bad as it use to be, though. I just have to do an occasional re-log to get things back in order.

I had an issue where I got on, got a "Could not connect error" then could not get on for the rest of the night.

Ok I moved the server right up to the router and used different network card and patch cable. and bypassed the extra switch in case if it started failing. According to my tests I'm getting full available bandwidth, so looks good on my end.
