No offence to ANY staff or anything, but if I could replace someone, it would be ExplodingBoxes. Compared to the other staff members, he isn't very hands on and doesn't work like the other staff members in my opinion. Also, he tends not to defuse aggressive situations very well and still leaves people pretty angry. The last thing is, he tends to side with certain people in arguments, potentially his friends, and doesn't use the proper course of action. If I could replace him (which I don't want to), I would try my hardest to deal with all the problems i have in my grasp.

How do you choose to appeal this?

First off, I would make a sincere apology to the entire server on the behalf that it is my account. I would then post a topic explaining that I can attempt to clean up my sibling's actions if possible. I would then get him to confess of what he has done and get him to apologise as well. If none of these actions work, I must face the consequence's of my sibling's poor actions a.k.a; a ban.

A week after becoming VIP and befriending some of the staff, you find out that Caldrin, Countypo, and TheDoleking are planning on faking a situation that would give them a reason to ban a user that they disliked on the server. This user is completely innocent, only being guilty of being annoying to the staff. You’re a new staff member and nobody really trusts you that much yet, and Caldrin/Countypo/TheDoleking are threatening to have you demoted and banned if you rat on them, and you have no evidence except for your word. How do you react to this situation?

The first thing I would try to do is, to defuse the situation and explain to the staff what they are doing is completely wrong and that they should know better. If that doesn't work, I would try to quietly alert an admin (Korthic, Kommy, Fabeth etc.) providing one is present. If luck is against me and there is no admin, I could message the player on what is happening and that he should try not to do anything out of the norm. If the corrupt staff catch me, and ban/demote me, I would try to message an admin or post a topic regarding this madness.

Also, I haven't been on MCJ for a long time, due to my laptop breaking, rendering it useless. I'll try to be a lot more active while on the server and try to help new or old players with day-to-day tasks.

I'm a respectful to players but not if they do something bad to not deserve it (Mokman7) is the only on but most people know what he is like!

I think that all the staff do there jobs good all have there Views on everything to sort things out for people i think they should not be replaced. They all work as a good team so they all end up on a good well thought out decision to things. I would like to say my Favorite staff is Explodingboxes because he will say on the server helping when every one else is playing something else who is staff he doing a break from there duties i would just want to leave them be and hes slways on and is the most handy fella i know on MCJ or maybe even minecraft SMP!

I would talk to the staff team about it and just explain that's not how i normally act. i would say that i will take my punishment and i was my fault that i let him have access to my account. Then i would try to make my self earn there trust by just being a good member and hopefully get my respect back.

If i knew i would talk to Korthic or kommy about it and say that if there something i might not be true, also i would try and be with people on the server so i have an alibi. then i would be proven that i was doing something with them when this thing happens. I would trust that i could take to Kor or kommy and they would see if there was proof on there side of this happening and hope that they find a flaw in Doles, Counts and Caldrins Accouterments of my ban.

All the staff are amazing at their job and this would be a hard choice. If I had to choose one member of the staff it would probably be Countypo. My reasons for choosing Countypo are that sometimes he can have a little too much fun when he is just joking around. An example of this is his appeal for the temp-ban Caldrin did in early April. If you are banned for lying about something for half a year maybe you shouldn’t just post a picture of a baboon’s ass as compensation. If I were to be banned for something like this I would have written an actual appeal. But I would never be able to replace count for the simple fact of when he does take things seriously that he can be one of the best staff MCJ has had.

I wouldn’t wright an appeal it would have been my fault of for example my sister logged in because I told her my password after all, one of MCJ’s rules are that when they punish its by account. Still if I had to wright an appeal it would go like “I’m sorry every one of the server my sister was on my account because of me being a dumbass to trust her without thinking what she may do. I would like to send my deepest apologies to the people that were harmed by whatever criticism was done.” That is probably how I would wright my appeal but like I said if I did something like that happened I would probably not appeal for the simple fact I wouldn’t deserve to bypass the ban if it was my own damn fault.

First I would bring them into a separate mumble channel and have them explain EXACTLY how they were annoying them. After this I would PM Korthic on the forums just to let him know that this is going on. Then I would bring the other person who is supposedly annoying them into an MCMMO party then ask him if he could tone down talking while I try and handle something that involves him and ask him if there would be anyway if he could talk to the other staff in a way that would make him think he’s a really cool guy let’s let him stay. And ask the guy if he’s willing to either get on mumble and share his side of the story or if he would be tell me his side of the story and I could share it to the three and hopefully change their mind and if it really comes down to it I could run Audacity while talking to them about it and getting them to say they were going to ban him (Note this is a lost option) and then PM it to korthic on the forums and tell him I tried to sort it out but it wouldn’t work and I now have evidence.

This was the hardest question in my opinion. So I will start off with by going over the staff members listed.
Countypo: He is an elder staff member, he has been on for a long time. He jokes around when it’s ok and he gets serious when he needs to. He is always on IRC and was offered Admin by Imodatlife when he owned the server. Always helps and responds.
Korthic: He is an amazing and active admin... so demoting him would just not happen.
Nicolu: She is nice, helpful, and everything else staff members need plus more.
Caldrin: Caldrin is an overlord for a reason.
Droznight: Droz is a great staff and is helpful.
ExplodingBoxes: He is fairly new to his job as a staff, I really hate to say but if one staff where demoted it would have to be him. Of course he is a good staff, he has helped me out a lot since he got staff and is doing a good job. I think one thing he needs to work on is muting people. I think this because of two recent incidents. One being when bigpapi7 tp killed me 3 times. He was capsing and spamming a lot. He did mute him eventually after someone asked him to and he could have before to stop the argument. The second being when Bane_of_enderman was killed by kaos1559. Bane was being very rude and threatening kaos. I think that he should have been muted and boxes could have tried to calm him down with a short mute. If I become a VIP+ I would use the /mute command as much as I could to help calm people down or get people to stop spamming/capsing. Another reason why I could replace boxes is because I am extremely active on the forums and he only has 27 posts. He only had 1 post before getting VIP but, he should be more active on the forums. The final reason would have to be that he gives in to complaints easily. An example of this is when xben918x killed two members and they then accused him of flying and hacking. Boxes made ben give their items back but this may cause them to continue as they think they can get their way. Overall Boxes makes a great staff and is extremely helpful but if I was staff I could help out the server so much. I would love to get staff one day and be as helpful as he is.

If this where to happen I would apologize because it’s my own fault and get the friend/sibling to apologize on mumble and provide proof that it was not me. I would change my password and try to fix all damage done by the jerk. I would do everything I could to get unbanned as I spend so much time and effort on the server and enjoy helping the community. The rule is that they punish by account and if I allow someone to get onto my account then I should be punished.
*Luckily for me I have one sibling that is a VIP on the server and know that he should not be able to get on my account and would not anyways.

First of all I would pm Kommy and Korthic on the forums and send them mail ingame of what I know and found out. I would also tell them if they are on mumble. I would then speak to Caldrin, Countypo and TheDoleKing and defend the innocent user. I would ask to hear each sides to the story and record or take snapshots for more proof. When threatened to be demoted I would call them power abusers (tell them they are abusing powers and they will get in a lot of trouble if they do something to the user without reason), warn the user and tell them to not provoke them and inform the admins and a couple staff members that I may be demoted or banned because of what is happening.

If I had the chance to replace a member of the staff team, then I would have to decline the chance because I believe that all the members of the staff team have earned their right to be part of it through respect and loyalty to the server. But if I HAD to replace one then i would have to chose Countypo for the reason that he likes to mess around with people a bit too much. Don't get me wrong I think that Countypo is a brilliant part of the staff team and have total respect for him like I do for everyone else on the server (accept of course the ones who log on just to get peoples nerves). I have read some other posts and it seems that Countypo is being picked on a little bit so please accept this cake as an apology

As you all well know i have been in a similar situation to this one, if you don't know what happened then you can always go back and read my ban report for an explanation. If you have read my report then you will see that I didn't really appeal, I just said what had happened and accepted my punishment. I did this because I know that I am completely responsible for my account. so I changed my password and gave my sister a hard time for a few months.

as I regularly take screen shots of things that may be important I would send screens of evidence but as I have no evidence, I would just have to tell Kommy, Korthic and Purplez through PM or mumble about it and try and get them to talk to Caldrin Countypo and TheDoleking and question them about it. I would also try my hardest to try and get evidence from that point on, keep the admins updated on what is happening and send any screens I can get.

I don’t think any of the staff listed above would ever be demoted, they are all helpful, and great members of the staff. IF I did have to demote one of the staff overlord, or admin above I think maybe count. But I should let you know count is tied for my favorite staff! The only reason is because I don’t see him on as much as the other staff, it may just be my timezone or the times that I play, but I don’t see him on as much as the other staff listed above. But Countypo is still tied for my favorite staff! He may be active, but not visible or maybe just on at different times. Sorry people are picking on you count :’(

First off, no one I mean No One gets on my account, wait maybe kaos... but that would be because I left it logged in at his house... he knows he would get caught though.
I would accept my punishment I have read some reports about that type of thing and I know the consequences. I would accept either an in game punishment or a ban/temp ban. After a while I would go back and right an appeal for what has been done, I would accept any punishment if it means I can eventually get back on junkie

I know that I must report this to the admin’s probably Korthic and Kommy, I would pm the both of them in game and on the forums any other staff that are online I would also tell/pm them I would make sure I told any people who could help me, I would also tell other VIP’s I can trust not to scream about it, people I could trust to secretly pass the message around. Even if I did get banned I believe that if Korthic, Kommy or any other staff plus figured out they would allow me back seeing as I had done nothing wrong, I believe that every player deserves the right treatment no matter what rank default, member, veteran, ADV builder, VIP, staff, admin or Comrade all should be treated equally as individuals

1. If I were to replace explodingboxes for example, I would make a great staff. I am an experienced Server Admin. I do own a server myself so I would be good with commands, I am also very friendly, so I would get along with people who behave and follow the rules, however I am also very strict. I would never abuse my powers. If someone would misbehave I would run it through other staff first, if there was nto any other staff there I would take the matter in to my own hands
2. The way I would appeal to this is to ban by account but if the this brother apologized on his or her account, if they had one then I think there could be some sort of appeal here but I think this event occured more than once then action shoud be taken by account

3. The first thing I would be to get a screenshot of these people threatening you. Then I think the next thing to do would be posting it on the forums. I should let an admin know (such as korthic). If there isn't enough information I should tell him to check to IRC channel, there could have been a recorded conversation of these between the players to show that this player was innocent and it was all one devious plot set out by these master criminals.

A few other things I would liek to add, I am building a massive village, it is called Haven City, I'm pretty sure a lot of you have heard of it or seen it, it is almost done and I think it would contribute well for my application of being a VIP.

Another thing you guys should know is, I have exams coming up, so I might only get an hour maximum to play on junkie. Once these exams are over then I will play junkie for as long as I like, AND I WILL PLAY A LOT @_@... well anyway thank you for reading my application form for VIP. I really hope I get this position because I have already applied once and would love to get it this time.

ANSWER
If i had to replace one of the staff members we have on mcj i would have to pick EXPLODINGBOXES
i would pick him because he is the newest staff and he is not as strict with the punishments.
For examble Bigpapi7 tp killed rocky535 three times in one day and Explodingboxes only jailed him for 1 hour when the rule for mcj is:
if someone tp killed someone THREE times in one day there is a temp bane.
BUT I think that every staff is amazing on mcj but i would pick Exlodingboxes if i had to pick one staff member.

ANSWER
If this had happend to me i would take responsibility for my actions of giving my friend or sibling my password. my appeal would probley be like this "I am sorry for my actions of what my friend or sibling did i know i was stupid giving him/her my password and i have changed my password so nobody will get into my account again and i will not give the password to anybody else my password. i will accept my punishment and if i get back on the server i will try to fix everthing my MEAN/JERK sister/brother/friend did.

A week after becoming VIP and befriending some of the staff, you find out that Caldrin, Countypo, and TheDoleking are planning on faking a situation that would give them a reason to ban a user that they disliked on the server. This user is completely innocent, only being guilty of being annoying to the staff. You’re a new staff member and nobody really trusts you that much yet, and Caldrin/Countypo/TheDoleking are threatening to have you demoted and banned if you rat on them, and you have no evidence except for your word. How do you react to this situation?
ANSWER
If this has happend to me i would PM a admin on the fourms like KORTHIC and tell him what has happend
I would hope that an admin would belive me and i would also PM some staff on the fourms or PM them if i saw them on the server and tell them what happend. Then I would talk to caldrin countypoo and thedoleking and ask them why they are banning the other player and i would take screen shots of there answer's. Then I would ask the player what he/she did and i would take screen shots of what has happend and why countypoo caldrin and thedoleking were trying to bane him. I would pm the screen shots to an admin and staff on the fourms. If I didn't get any proof at all from countypoo caldrin thedoleking and the other player and all the admin's didn't belive me i would talk to countypoo caldrin and thedoleking again and hope that they will good members and just be honest and not bane the other player. If they banned me i would make an appeal on the fourms asking to be unbanned and say what has happend and an admin or staff might belive me then and talk to countypoo caldrin and thedoleking. The appeal would go like this


"Hi its galoop
i was banned because caldrin countypoo and thedoleking were going to bane an inocent player because they didn't like him. They have told me they would bane me if i told anybody else. I didn't get any proof of them saying anything i have told admins on the fourms and other staff but nobody belived me. I have asked countypoo caldrin and thedoleking why they were banning the other players but they would not tell me and i asked the opther player why they were going to bane him but he didn't know anything about it. So i just asked caldrin countypoo and thedoleking that they shouldn't bane the other player but then they just banned me.
So i would just to be unbanned (if you guys belived me)

If I hade to chose one of the amazing staff to replace it would have to be ExplodingBoxes. I would choose ExplodingBoxes because he is the newest to the staff team and has less experience. ExplodingBoxes is a fantastic staff but at some times he struggles to make the right decision. One time Rocky535 had all of his Mooshroom slain, ExplodingBoxes said that since he didn’t have the room secure he couldn’t have them back. I would disagree with and ask Korthic if he can have the Mooshroom spawned in, later Kommy came on and indeed spawned them in! ExplodingBoxes is an amazing staff but sometimes he can be a little bit stubborn, this is not a big deal but it can change the opinion toward the server for new players. ExplodingBoxes is an amazing staff and these were hard to come up with, I hope I did not offend anybody in this answer.

I would first figure out what had happened while I was gone. After that I would formally apologize on the forums and try to find a way out of my punishment. If I could find a way out of my punishment I would fix ever thing I broke and apologize to everyone (I might even throw out a cash reward to everyone I offended possibly 1000 dollars). However if I could not get out of my punishment I would accept it and join back as soon as I could.

I would first talk to a trusted friend who does play Minecraft but does not play on the server and ask him what he would do. I would next talk to a trusted member on the server not giving away to many details. If they both think I should come clean then I will tell a admin (since they are the only people with more authority that Caldrin).
