Minecraft 1.7.3 is here!

It also seems that if you update you can still get on the server with people who haven't updated.. atleast that is what i noticed this morning when I logged on and people there said they updated.

We just released 1.7.3, fixing a few piston bugs. Who knew such a "minor" feature would have so many corner cases, eh?

Thankfully, we got a lot of testing help from the Bukkit team. Behind the scenes, we've been testing the "modding api" (which in reality is just the full source code behind a license saying you can only use it to make free stuff, and that everything you make based off that can only be playable by people who have bought Minecraft) with them, and it's going very well.
We need to do some website infrastructure to allow anyone to sign up, but things are progressing nicely.

I can confirm that you are able to log on to the server if you update.

try deleting your textures and bin folder in your minecraft installation and redownload it

Im assuming you using play.minecraftjunkie.com address??? and updated to 1.7.3 client and tried deleting and reinstalling minecraft folder under %appdata%??

Ehmm, uninstall it all then re install it?
Copy your SP worlds onto your desktop, just so it doesen't get deleted.
Have you already done that? Lol I dont have a good attention span.
