Slight changes on our site

As you can see we've added some minor advertisements via google adsense to help us continue running MCJ server. Up to now we mostly relied on the donations from our members.
If you always wanted to donate but could not afford it, you can always help us by checking these sponsored ads. Every little bit helps...

So how do they work? they advertise all over the site and if we click on the and check it out you get payed ?

yea it pays very small amount per click I believe nothing huge. Just trying to get as much help as possible financially to run this shindig.
Hmm inappropriate... weird, usually via google ads its not that bad. Are you sure its not reading your viewing history and giving you ads based on that???

my dad works with these google adsense people, he says they moderate ads that go through so it's not very likely that they would publish any inappropriate ads, but then again it's only the division he works in, I would assume the people who work in different divisions would do the same moderation

It's not that it's bad by any means, it's just like, singles websites and stuff.

If I'm correct it's somewhere around three clicks is a penny.So in other words if we got every active person too click about 300 times and just right click and close all it could make money but I'm not sure and not everyone is willing to do that.

well it depends in the keywords also... I used to be big into adsense, forgot most of the stuff nawadays

Yeah google absolutely does not have sexually inappropriate ads, these particular ads show content based off your DoubleClick cookie I believe.
