Offense: Caused a huge disruption in chat, argued with staff about rules and would not stop when we asked him to cease in the public chat. Muted twice, once for 15 minutes and once for 30 minutes. He evaded mutes both times by going onto other accounts, even after warned.

Course of Action: Tempbanned and IPbanned for one week.

i dont understand how i was temp banned for 7 days. first i was muted for 10 mins then after that was gone a bit more of the argument happened then i ended up getting muted for 30 mins so then i minimized minecraft (while still logged in to the server) and got on steam to talk to brandon (it only took 30 secs to get into a chat with him) then i went to go on minecraft again and i was temp banned for 7 days. i dont understand why i was banned if i was already muted for 3 mins. im just saying i find this bs. i just dont under stand. i would like this temp ban to go away and just keep the mute until it gone. i really like the server i tried bringing a friend , xahor , to it and things just got out of hand. I play on this server every day i used to be a V.I.P. and i was deranked for inactivity but now im back.

korthic the argument was about how i was going to show my friend the server and everything. so he got on and he say someone and started to say in the chat his name to get his attention. (while this was happening i was on skype with him) anyway he was saying the players name in all caps (he didnt know he had caps on) after saying it 5 time he was muted for 10 mins. Right when he was muted i was in the middle of telling him not to keep saying that and turn caps off, he did but he was already muted so i asked if they could unmute him because he didnt know because first he didnt spawn in the spawn room with all the signs. he spawned in a room that had no rules or anything anywere. and so after he was muted they said that there is a sign in the spawn saying no spamming and all caps. there wasnt. (zera put up the signs about it after the fact my friend was banned) so then the argument went on as i was trying to help my friend because he was banned for a stupid reason. i was eventually muted for 10 mins then unmuted by i beleive caldrin but not sure. so then the argument still went on and i was muted for 30 mins thats when i was soon temp banned for 7 days.

Alright so, I think I need to speak up here since it was me that first pushed the issue.

Xahor, default, started to all caps say his friends name in chat, was warned twice (three possible?) to not spam/all caps. the guy once again did it, so Ken muted him for 5 m.

After he was muted, wierdfreak started to complain about it, saying there was no sign in spawn that said he couldn't spam. And that it was unfair. After he did that, I told Ken in helpop to stay out of it (So that he didn't have to deal with it, since he was in the right IMO) and told wierd that Ken was in the right and that his friend was spamming. This lead to a looooooong 5m argument about that fact that spam isn't listed as something he can't do in the spawn area. (Which we then placed a sign saying so, for future defaults) I argued the point that it was common sense (Rule 3 on our /rules) which apparently wasn't good enough.

When Xahor's mute was up, he then stated in all caps that

To which I then banned him. This is obviously him being a jerk to be a jerk, and causing drama. And we don't need players like that on MCJ. Note that by this time caldrin had joined me in telling mike that the 5m mute was vaild, and when xahor did this, caldrin supported my ban.

After the ban, Mike continued to make a fuss about it, saying he was defending his friend. And the Xahor person logged into another account (iiHazel) to complain again. We (we being Caldrin, Countypo, and I) told him over and over to stop causing drama, and to take it to the ban report if he needed to get something out. Which he refused to do. So I muted him. He logged in under other accounts (Hacked accounts) evading the mute. Caldrin told him he would unmute him if he dropped it. We unmuted him.. He didn't drop it. Caldrin warned him once again, Still didn't stop. (This was like, 7 warnings from three staff members over the course of.. 20ms?) Caldrin even told him exactly, that if he evaded the mute, he was going to get temp banned for a week. So that's what we did.

there was a warning about a temp ban. and any way i couldnt continue with anything because i was muted for 30 mins. so i dont understand why i was temp baned. i was goin to stop when the mute was gone but i never ha the chance to because i was temp banned for a week. And i wasnt avoiding the mute i went afk for 30 secs to get on steam and i get back i was banned. i was coming back. I still dont understand the reason for the temp ban. and btw i talked to xahor and he doesnt care if he is unbanned or not so you dont need to bring him up anymore.

Yeah there was a big mix up last night. I tried to fix it but it was late, people were tired, and no one wanted to admit who was and wasn't wrong.

but awniks/xahor is a friend of my that I make videos with, and me and him discussed about making videos on Minecraftjunkie. He kinda came on expecting respect and such since he was my friend and he felt he deserved it.

The staff that were on, I think count and torch or whatever saw him spam chatting which he really did not mean to do. He usually just types like a maniac, he was being unrational. Plus I think the instant ban on him was a bit much, like I said it was late and people were cranky.

Really I think this is all a misunderstanding and ultimately we should appeal the ban from Xahor so he can get to know the server nad hopefully make videos with me.

Mike on the other hand did go against some rules, I didn't read deeply enough but he did break some rules. I honestly think the week temp ban is much.

So shorting that to 1-2 days would be best to teach a lesson.

Honestly the whole night last night was a mess, and I think we should all void it from memory having the only trace of it being the temp ban. I feel this way because if we make the bans stand we will create conflict with wierdfreak and Xahor will not be making videos with me

Still its not my server and I honestly have not regained my standing yet due to the fact of my absence from the server, but I've seen plenty of fights break out on junkie. lets not make this one a big deal since most of the fights turn from little hurricane to full blown 2012 end of the world.

Dude I dont want conflict. It was late at night and everyone was tired and just angered. Can we just make this an appeal and put it behind us? Ofcourse I will get Xahor to come and appeal

He can be unbanned if he logs on to make his appeal. It is common sense not to spam and use caps, it doesn't need to be a rule even though it is. He also did it purposely again after his mute, since we do not know him and he hasn't established a reputation, people like that are just trouble makers and are banned. Mike should have known better than to argue stupid stuff like that and he knows getting on mumble to talk to the staff helps over causing drama in the chat.

I have no problem with them being unbanned, but if their is trouble again the bans will stick.
