Ever update your Minecraft too early?

Okay, it's just like if you were to download Minecraft. All you have to do is choose the type of computer you have, open it, click on "options", click the "JAR downloader" choose the Minecraft version you want to go back to (in this case it would be 1.8.1), and it should be all good. I'm am very sorry paper, I am not much of a Mac user but I will get on my school computer in a second and try to download it and figure it out.

*EDIT* Also you can use the normal Minecraft launcher but it stays on the same version it was left at. For example, if you updated to 1.9 on your normal launcher, it will stay that way.

This doesnt work for me...I'll just wait till the 1.0.0 server comes out.

1. Can we not just have a temp. server?
2. I thought that the 1.0.0 Bukkit was already out but im not sure.

We are waiting for the recommended version of the bukkit server.

It is common sense to check the server your going to play on before you update... I don't understand why people don't do it, even after we told everyone not to update. There is a developer release for bukkit atm, when there is a recommended or stable version and most plugins update we will update the server. In the meantime instead of wasting time on a temp world that we wont keep, we can all play and build on the main world.

ok ill keep building my map on my own server. To reiterate my comment in the other thread, Can i use the map as a way to upgrade to advbuilder?

theres not really anyway for us to confirm you built the things.. we would prefer they were built on the server.. maybe you can rebuild them or something. If you already have nice things on the server you can show me those.
