Ever update your Minecraft too early?

Post by lemonzilla »

Have you ever felt the need to update just to see how the next beta release turned out and you couldn't get the older version of Minecraft back to get on the server? I have had many issues with this and temporary servers can get old. With this mod that I found, you can get back to any of the Minecraft.jar updates from the newest update to the very beginning of Minecraft. For example, if you accidentally update to 1.9, with this mod you can switch back to 1.8 and 1.9 in just a few clicks. It is also a lot easier than copy and pasting the minecraft.jar that you want to save to your desktop. I hope you guys enjoy this mod :)

Directions: Just install this mod and when your in the Minecraft login screen, click on "options", click on "JAR downloader", pick the Minecraft version you want (you can download more than 1) and your ready to go!
