Lapis Blocks Around Spawn

I have been walking around spawn to get Cannot Protected Area EVERYWHERE. A few times I got no clipped into a wall and died. Another time I got pushed to the top of a building with no staircase down. I would like to please ask to remove your lapis blocks, and if you really dont want people in your house, go build a house away from spawn.

Well... I hope they read the signs saying its only a temporary spawn. I hope nobody going to bitch and wine when we move the spawn area...

There shouldn't be Lapis around spawn whatsoever. That is a major PVP area. Having precious stones around the spawn only encourages cheating (shooting out of Sponges, Lapis, random Jack-o-Lanturns, etc.).

Okay, just took a walk through spawn. Must have taken out over two dozen lapis blocks. People are just being stupid. Some idiot had four Jack-o-Lanterns in his house, and when somebody walked by they exploded. I destroyed every Lapis/Sponge/Jackolantern around spawn and put most of them in the house's chest, and put up signs everywhere warning people not to use precious stones around spawn. If anybody sees people using Sponge, Lapis, Diamond, or Jack-o-Lanterns around spawn, let a staff member immediately so they can take action.
