True there's a lot of creeper damage, but there was on the regular map as well for a long time. We had creepers turned on for months. You can still see proof of this in Asgard. People will eventually fill in the holes or build over them.

I will try to put up the main server on Sunday. Its all about the plugins working with the new bukkit. If the important plugins do not work, we will have to stay on temp server longer.
It is nothing different from every other time the update gets released.

Personally, I would say there should be safe land for a while, then selected areas PVP instead of a massive world that's PVP.

EDIT: I'm gonna point out that this silly PVP has outraged my group. Forcing us to create safe havens in the regular world that most people will be using the majority of the time they will be on, would also be nonsense.. Not all of the users enjoy PVP, Dalton for example liked it at first, but now angers him.

Okay Im almost done with setting up the regular server but there are some glitches with some plugins, Im trying to narrow down to. Im testing it on a separate machine right now.
Please be patient, we just got too many plugins and worlds so it is a pain in the neck, especially with a big update like 1.8.
