AntiCheat is garbage

• Planting while walking backwards
• Running up stairs
• Putting things into containers too quickly

Who designed this thing, and why are the default settings reacting to normal playing?

I don't think you need a cheating prevention plugin at all.

We've got this server which is practically teeming with staff and police. Right now there are 19 players online - 9 of them are figures of authority. If a default comes on and starts tunneling diamonds or flying around, they are caught and dealt with very quickly.

You reset the server for the purpose of reducing lag and improving stability, but you've installed a plugin which creates more lag and forces players to move slowly and carefully lest they be deemed "moving too fast".

I think you're outta your god damn mind if you think this server can go without a Nocheat type plugin.

Do you realize how very easy it would be to take down the server, currupt the files and ruin it all if there wasn't something stopping some of these hacked clients.

Right now there's a ton of people online. Without Nocheat, if someone came on and started causing enough problems to bog down the Server, would you like to know how many of those 9 authority figures could really stop him? One. The admins are currently the only ones with power to STOP the server if need be.

Beyond that, Nocheat type plugins allow us to maintain control without watching each player 24/7. Keeps our pvp'ers feet on the ground. And our more toxic players from spamming chat.

That being said, YEAH the new plug in has its issues. Outta all the new players that have been on in the past 24 hours, wanna know how many have had the problems you two have encountered? half a dozen. (And that's prob being generous) there's several people who have yet to have a single issue with it. It's going to need to be tweaked.. Just like any new plugin.

We've worked REALLY hard on this new world thing.. Give us some breathing room while we get it worked out.

Its not the best by any means I think we can all agree on that.

But simply put we have no alternative it's either this plugin or none at all and we can NOT go without an anti cheat plugin. Sure we are teeming with staff now but what happens at 3 AM when no admin or staff are on? And some little troll decides to make swiss cheese out of our brand new world?

And then when our staff gets on the first thing they have to deal with is lord only knows how many
players yelling about how they got griefed and how it needs to be fixed instead being able to work on what the server really needs.

Honestly Max put the server up LAST NIGHT we get that there are hiccups and some things are not working but what I think a lot of our players don't get is how hard kommy and our staff team have worked to get this new world up and running.


By all means report issues you find let us know whats not working so that it can be fixed. But there is a distinct difference between Notification and blatant whining.These things will get fixed but our admins could really use a 2 day breather before coming back and having to deal with nothing but complaints.

i guess im starting to get over my bronchitis at the perfect time then to deal with this. what anticheat is doing sound a lot like what Nocheat + [which is what we had before ] would do before someone went into the config for it and changed some of the settings in it.

I set off the spamming thing by locking my chests. Is there not a better plugin? This one is terrible and seriously ticks me off. I'll be back on when it's fixed. Not risking getting banned over a plugin that doesn't function properly.

I do have the configs for it - But it doesn't seen to allow me to fuss with the thresholds. I did find where you can remove the ban option though at the very least.
