Just wondering. I'm currently using Optifine. I'm about to download and try REI's minimap.
I'm also trying to figure out how to use both MCPatcher and Optifine. My texture pack combines glass blocks and glass panes very nicely when using MCPatcher, but for some reason it doesn't work with optifine. So far I haven't managed to get the two to play nicely yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

I recommend using the Voxel Modpack (http://www.voxelwiki.com/minecraft/The_VoxelModPack) and Optifine together.

optifine because my computer melts if i run minecraft without it and ries minimap jus because
