Honestly we are 8000 blocks from the ice portal, it's a nice thought but it's going to take a lot of iron that no one has or if they do, wants to use it for something we may never use.

Meh. I get most of it just exploring abandoned shafts. Still, I understand. It does open you up to griefing a bit.
