Hello, I no longer have my computer and I have this really bad microsoft laptop untill my brithday (speptember 3rd).

I was playing minecraft on it but I just realy hated windows xp so I got windows 7, all my stuff where deleted.

Getting to the point.
I would like some help getting requirments for minecraft.
I have
-Java
-Updated video card.
-still can't play minecraft.

Please comment on what else I need to download to play minecraft.

Do you have the necisarie driver when me and maxse updated his computer his was missing a driver and we just had to reinstall that and make sure you get 32bit java if you have a 32bit system.

We kinda need more info than that. What's happening when you load up? Got an error message? Or a log of some kind?

maxse thinks that you can't use a windows XP video card on a windows 7 model but we have no idea ask korthic hes smarter then me and maxse combined to the power of I dunno 999. The point is he knows computers better then alot of people. Zera might no a thing or to as well he seems to understand computer coding maybe he could know your problem.

1: desktop or laptop
2: list recent hardware changes
3: if new video card did you get the correct driver? make sure you got the one for your operating system

Click Start.
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the Open box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has.

that will tell you what your system is like.

This might cost some $$$ but look into getting a portable external hard drive to transfer things from laptop to desktop visa versa.

I'll list off some of my laptops display:

- Name: Standered VGA Graphics Adapter
- Manufacteur: (Standard display types)
- Chip type: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500

On the bottom theres something about directx and I have none of them, do I need it for minecraft?
