After the events of the past couple of days with the people living on the mooshroom biome i believe that open world pvp should be removed from the main world soon if not now because some people play minecraft to build not to live in fear of dieing where ever they go. im not saying pvp is bad im just saying that making the entire world pvp is bad. so if you want to pvp just set up a residence somewhere and turn pvp on in that area. that way if you want to live in constant threat of death you can. so if you just want to build somewhere you can without worry.

I agree with this, This would be just like the old worlds witch were my person favorit i do agree with boxes in every term of this and i vote we ban open world pvp!

thats a reason why residences were made to stop pvp and pvp should be in the RPG world (if that comes out .......)
and i agree there should be that or at least something that prevents people from killing defaults and members in open world

this is brought up constantly and I'll say the same thing as always.. We have the old world which is nonpvp and away from the majority of players, we have residence so people can protect there homes and control pvp and I have said MANY times if people build more arena areas like thorn then i would remove world pvp.

We created this world because you all wanted PVP, if you want it to not be pvp, Go move to the old world as Korthic said. If you whine about PVP again I will be mad, although, I must say it'll be annoying. Just move to the old world and live as a hermit.

I liked it when there was the red wool pvp zone and everyone lived there and pvped, good times. I have a few pvp arenas in mind but they will take time. The old world is probably the best thing for non-pvp because of the price to res.

what if we were to create a portal or two to a large area to give people about 3-5 days to build forts then when that time is up we could turn that very large landmass into a pvp area. i would be like a pvp world but without the need for a new world.

We just need more people to actually listen to us about the Residence thing. Maybe put a sign/notice in the default room if you haven't already about residence and open world PVP

To residence a large area from bedrock to the new sky level can be expensive though :/

I like boxes idea, maybe we can have a small spawn with a few pvp admin shops and a red lne like the old world had one for pvp. people can make there own houses there and it can be a pvp area in which you can have a home/base and pvp all around the spawn. There could be a few rules like: Do not build within 10 blocks of another house, do not grief, do not make small shitty dirt huts, no 1x1 towers and so on.

There's really no reason to debate this, again.

There's so many options it's not funny.
Don't wanna ever World pvp? Move to old world.
Wanna get pvp turned off in the New world? Help build pvp arenas
Just need to be safe in your town? Res it.

Stop whining, and just do what you can to fix it.
