You forgot banning me from mumble. And, I wasn't rude to everyone on mumble, I only called Mokman7 a couple of names 2-3 times, and I am know I did not do anything else. I really think this is an overreaction, banning me for a whole day, and, otherwise, Mokman7 has done practically the same thing and he at least got a warning, I did not. Not a single warning was given.

Oh, and also? people have griefed and gotten jailed for only 45 min? I was jailed for the whole day, and you also said you would unjail me when you got on in the morning, so that is more than a day.

I dont agree with you being jailed ingame. Infact most situations on mumble should not be taken ingame when a kick or ban from mumble is good enough.
The reason you were banned in mumble is because you dont shut your mouth. For a hour on there the only time you said anything was to harrass someone or laugh AT someone for something they said or mistakenly said. If you wanna troll do it elsewhere and don't do it to me.

i had the idea to jail him first to try to get him to stop after he had been talking for about 20m but he did not stop, so after Korthic got on slival was still being rude so korthic banned him from mumble. he would not have been jailed for so long if he had stopped when i told him to.

The in game jail was not for what happened in mumble, it was for his disrespect for boxes, in the in game chat. He wouldn't drop it, and was pestering boxes in chat, and I told him to drop it. Since he was causing drama, that coulda been taken to tells. When he refused (Not outright, but by not listening) he was told that if he didn't drop it he would be punished in game as well. Apparently, this is what happened.
That being said, I support boxes in jailing him.. Though, that long may be a tad excessive.

This, guys. I have said this time and time again:
do not screw around with jailing. The jail plugin is, and always has been, very buggy. It's prone to breaking, it sometimes
kills the person it jails for no reason, and it sometimes wipes the items of the offender. The punishment should fit the crime. We have multiple tools to directly prevent people from breaking specific rules. Mutes are for IMMEDIATE ingame chat offenses. Jails are for stopping people who are causing IMMEDIATE problems ingame (grief, PVP offense, evading mute via PM, hacking). Mumble, Forum, and IRC offenses should be taken care of in those specific realms. Unless no staff+ are online, ANYTHING ELSE should be a ban (temporary or indefinite) from the server.

As i said the jail was my idea to try to get him to stop being rude since no one on mumble had any powers at the time so the most we could do was local mute him which looking back might have been better but since he wasn't listening to us in the first place he would not have learned anything from it because he could still type messages to people in mumble. and looking at the jail it was only about 13 hours long not the entire day.
