Minecraft Junkie Server Rules

No Griefing:
-Breaking anything that does not belong to you is grief.
-Building within 100 blocks of someone without permission is grief.
*Towns are obviously okay, but not without the founder saying okay.
-Breaking walls/ground/fence to get into a locked off area is grief.
-Stealing crops (wheat/cactus/melons/etc) is Grief.
-Knowingly mining under someone's home is grief.
-Killing someone's animals is griefing.
-Knowingly building over someone's house, is grief.

Abusing Glitches/bugs
-Anyone found abusing bugs/glitches to gain advantages, items, exp, will have the gains removed, and possible be temp banned.
-Anyone that finds bugs and doesn't tell staff, will also be in trouble.
-Knowingly helping, or participating in any abuse of bugs/glitches, makes you just as responsible as the party gaining from it.
-Duplicating items will result in punishment.

Client side mods:
-Minor client side mods are okay.
*As long as they do not give you an advantage in any way in the game.
-Xray will get you tempbanned, and items removed.
-Anyone found with a "hacked" client (one that offers many in game advantage features) will be asked to remove it.
*If they do not do so right away, they will be temp banned.

No Spamming:
-All caps for more than one or two lines is considered spam.
-Repeating the same message over and over is considered spam.
*Saying someones name once or twice is not really spam, but after that it's time to take it to tells.
-Large amounts of obscenities are considered spamming.
-Typing random shit (asdjkflaksdjfhalskdjfh) for multiple lines, is spam.

No Evading punishment:
-If you're banned and you log in on another account, the ban will be increased.
-Sending tells while muted will get you temp banned or jailed.
-Logging on alts while your main is being punished is not okay.
*Logging on alts just to cause trouble will make any punishment you receive turn into an ipban

Build sensible:
-No 1x1 sky towers
-Cobblestone/dirt houses are generally frowned upon
-Building floating structures (In water or on land) will need some (practical) supports.
-If you're building near someone, be nice, they have to see your building every day as well.

Respect everyone:
-Every single member on the server deserves your respect.
*Swearing at other members will get you muted/jailed.
-Breaking a promise is disrespectful.
*Yes this is hard to prove.. Screen shot your bargins/deals people.
-Name calling/Personal insults will be punished.
*Yes we all play around with one another, but if someone tells you that it's gone too far, or to seriously stop.. It's time to drop it.

Pvp rules:
-No logging out during pvp combat.
-No attacking from a safe zone, including arrows, potions, activated abilities etc.
-No spawn camping.
*This includes "dancing" in and out of combat areas to attack and then retreat quickly, as well as slaughtering someone where they spawn in (Like /home) time after time after time.

No Tp killing:
-Tping to a person, (Tpa or TP) and then attacking them is not okay.
(If they TP to you and swing at you, you can defend yourself.)
*Any arguments about who swung first will end up in punishment for both parties.
-Tp'ing to someone NEAR the person you want to kill is not okay.
VIP + are required to to teleport away when attacked instead of retaliating.

Residence:
-Using res to keep staff+ from being in your home, while attempting to LB or such, will be punished.
*Up to and including, removal of Res, jail, or ban.
-Res someone else property, without consent will end with res being removed and you being punished.
*Unless consent is given of course, but I would suggest screen shotting this.

Advanced Builder:
-Must be something impressive
-Must have 3 staff members approvals
*Literally means three staff have to say "Yes, I think because of this build, you should be promoted to AB" Not, "This is good" or "I like it"
*Needs to be an original work of art!
*Inspiration from outside sources is fine but 80% of the build needs to be your thoughts and ideas.
-Workin in pairs is acceptable, provided both members did semi equal amounts of work in the building proccess.
*One person gathering materials and one building is not okay.

Common Sense:
-Use common sense while on the server.
*Just because there isn't a perfectly worded rule against something, doesn't mean it's okay. And you will still be punished for it.
-Don't be a jerk just to cause drama/be a jerk
-Staff decisions are sometimes situation oriented
*If we feel like your crime over steps usually first punishment, we'll some times jump to something more harsh
