Hi, me again. Now because we are in need of help moderating the server, we are opening applications to become a VIP on MCJK.
You should note that this is not a "moderator" position. This is basically a lite-mod position. You can do the basics of moderation, but you have less power and privileges than staff does.

Requirements for becoming a VIP:
+ Be active on the forums, and on the in game chat. Theres nothing more to say about this. We like people who talk.
+ Regular or Veteran Rank and must not have been a staff member in the past.
+ Must not have been banned in the past.
+ A good level of english: Typos are fine, second language is fine. 'ppl who r typin like dis or any1 simlar' are not.
+ Plays for at least 10 hours a week, preferably as much as possible. You WILL get removed from vip if you don't play often and contribute.
+ Friendly and helpful within the community. High level of forum participation is preffered but not essential.
+ Doesn't get angry easily, or jump to conclusions without looking for all the evidence.
+ Must be able to log on to SKYPE while playing so you can join the staff chat.

Remember:
If you are accepted, this does not mean you are above ANY server rules. In fact you are held to a higher standard than other users. Breaking any rule can result in a demotion, kick or ban, depending on the severity.
Also, at anytime, you can and will be demoted if an admin feels that you are not properly doing your job, or are not living up to the standard we hold you to.
When we are looking for staff members, we look at VIP members before we look at regular users. Might come in handy some day

By applying you realize:
1) This is the highest rank we promote regular users to. Act like it.
2) If you are accepted, you must still abide by all the rules of the server.

You need to answer the following questions. Please answer them in full and spend some time on them. It's obvious when people only spend 5 minutes on their application and that's really not good enough. One sentence answers are a waste of your time.

I am normaly on from around 5 pm to 2 am local time.

The thing i would like to change is this constant creation of more and more towns which become abandoned to produce more towns a small while later.

My favourite staff would be Sab, Iv spent a reasonable amount of time talking to him over Mummble and i find him an enjoyable person to talk to.

I have noticed quite often in the first few hours that i play every day that there is very little staff or vip pressence and have quite often seen people come and greif and admit to it. A few have even said they will keep greifing untill they get banned and as such with no one online to deal with it they carry on. So i hope that should i become a Vip i would be able to deal with any potental trouble makers.

The rule i feel is more important is that of No greifing, While i myself have never been greifed i can understand how heartbreaking it would be to come online one day to find somthing you have spent a lot of time building totaly decimated just so some one can have a cheap laugh.

Timezone and when you usually play: US Eastern Time (GMT -5:00) Various time throughout the day, then from about 8:30-10:30PM most nights.

If you could change one thing about MJMC what would it be?
The lag was just fixed, so not much. Other than that, I would prefer more staff/mods on during the day, as things can get chaotic without them.
Who is your favourite current staff member (non admin) and why?
Whoever reads this post But all joking aside, Countypo. He got me the game, and has helped "Show me the ropes" for this server.
Why do you want to be a member of the VIP team?
I'd like to be more productive. Several times I've gone to help someone, but there was no staff available to TP me.
Which one of MJMCs rules do you think is most important?
Respect other members. I enjoy being respected, so I try to respect others as well.

Timezone and when I am usually online: MST (mountain time). I am usually on quite a bit in the summer, as well as the winter whenever I have free time. Though, there will be times when I will not be able to get on. I'm most likely to be seen on in the afternoon, evening, and I am usually awake until about 5:00 in the morning. I know, I have to admit, I am addicted to Minecraft.

If I could change one thing about MJMC, I would probably pick the online status of some staff. Sometimes very late at night, all of the staff and admins are offline and things can get out of hand and chaotic like josh said. That's probably the only problem other than random griefers, but what server doesn't have those.

My favorite staff member would most likely be Sabatheus, if he is still considered a staff since he has been promoted to an overlord. He is a very responsible person, he mostly always responds back to you if you need help on the chat, he is very kind and considerate to all players, and he is an easy person to get along with.

The one reason why I would really like to be a part of the VIP team is because I really like to help people when needed and I would really love to be able to TP to people to help solve griefing crimes or whatever they need. I am also quite a people person and I respect everyone who respects me back.

In my opinion, one of MJMC's most important rules is to be respectful. Being respectful leads to people not wanting to grief because of the respect they are treated to. That's why welcoming new guests to the server is so important, because when they feel welcomed, they know that everyone in the server is kind.

Timezone and when you usually play:USA Eastern timezone During school, Usually 7:20Am-8:30 then 3Pm-11PM

If you could change one thing about MJMC what would it be? I would change... Hmm lets see, the amount of administration currently monitoring the server, I only see Countypo, and the community managers online the most, and sometimes Caldrin, Cutfishgo. This is one of the questions that inspired me to apply.

Who is your favourite current staff member (non admin) and why?: Personally, I enjoy Countypo and Caldrin, I LOVE their sense of humor and how they are helpful. I cant really choose one, as it might hurt the others feelings.

Why do you want to be a member of the VIP team?: I love helping new players, Or just anyone in need, as many other do, and other that have applications in this discussion, But I feel as if I could contribute to the community, and I respect players, but... If people disrespect, I would also like it if that was another thing we could change to the server, Respect.

Which one of MJMCs rules do you think is most important? Griefing, definentily, I see many cases of this, including one attempted on myself, tried to "grief glass" So, This is a major rule.

Now, I may have an issue with the staff chat. I have no microphone, my parents are really strict in "spending money". But I do not see how it is needed for a VIP to chat in mumble, Ryanator told me it was not "required" But useful, If this means I cannot be VIP, I am fine with it. I just hope I qualify for the nice person you want. So, I thank you for reading this post.

If i could change one thing it would be to have more staff online earlier in the morning when the greifers come in

My favorite staff member is Sabaceous(i think thats how you spell it i just call him sab)because he is nice and listens to and helps me and my friends alot and doesnt neglect anyone

I want to be a VIP because i want to help out the newer people as well as anyone who needs my help

i think the most important rule is no griefing because otherwise, this server would look like a town after being hit by a nuke

Would like to recommend CADDelta and Joshthelegodude as potential VIP members. Josh and CADD have both been extremely kind and helpful to brand new members whenever they can. Josh is currently in the process of building a PVP arena in the server, and CADDelta has pretty much been with us since the beginning. -CT

Time-zone I usually play: every day accept Monday + Wednesday (and maybe the weekend if I'm at my dads) at around 6:00 pm GMT - 10:00 pm GMT

if I could change anything about MCJ then I would like to see more staff etc. on because they help the community of MCJ out a lot

my favourite member would be ... well its a hard one because I love everybody that I see come onto the server (accept greifers ofc ) but Countypo, Cutfishogo, and ELjosho424 are really good friends because they thank you when you help them, they help you if they aren't busy with anything (most of the time ) and are just really nice members ^^.

I would like to be a VIP because I would be able to help stop griefing (at least a little) with the ability to TP to people ect. and I would also be able to help out the community a bit more which is also a good rile of being a good VIP (I also quite enjoy helping people but shhhhhh xD)

I think that the most important rule has to be no griefing because if other people get griefed they get annoyed abd a lot more other things ... I think that this is wrong and i would like to help stop it.

If you could change one thing about MJMC what would it be? i would like less towns to be created, and instead, possibly begin moving into old abandoned ones. also more likely decreasing greifers in abandoned areas.

Who is your favourite current staff member (non admin) and why? my favorite staff member is TheDoleKing. i think he's a cool guy that likes to help people. (like when he helped ryan fix his parthenon xD) he can also be funny (ie: I'm so poor! im not even at 1 million dollars! D: )

Why do you want to be a member of the VIP team? i want to be able to tp to other people if they need help, like with building and things like that. the purple name is nice too

Which one of MJMCs rules do you think is most important? The most important rule on MJMC to me is no greifing. this is because greifing ruins someone's hard earned items and homes, while letting someone get the easy way out. then eventually MJMC would be out of control with broken houses and complaints.
