banned?

Um when i logged in at 5:00 this afternoon it said i was banned from the server and i dont know why.

Thats odd, did you greif anything or do anything that could have been considered grefiing?

This issue's been resolved. I banned him for (what was supposed to be) five minutes, but during that period I received a phone call, and then forgot about Minecraft for about half an hour. Oh well, maybe you'll realize we're serious now.
I banned him because he was using macros to spam the server, and then lied about it saying it was "lag" repeating the message (which is why in the stream of message, some of the words had an additional letter at the end while others didn't). The spam wasn't severe (maybe 3/4 of the chat log at most), and I know i had access to the mute command, but since it was his THIRD time being warned about this I decided that banning him would get his attention a little more.
