Going to the end (tp's back)

Hey. I was on today and wanted to swing by the end.. and when i go through the end portal at spawn i end up in the "end portal"(the actual portal spawned when the dragon is killed) and just get sent to credits and then back to spawn 
have not tried to go through the endportal at the stronghold yet.
