Server Meeting 5th Of April 2017

SO we recently had a meeting and went over some points and issues that were effecting the server.

Present; Bally, Boxes, Mini & Maxadofilus

Plugins/ Server wide issues (For Kommys attention)

1. Chest Shop needs to be looked as they are not secure.

Also few changes to chest shops

Also there is a command in the config which is set to false which is auto-calculate-item-amount: false This in boxes mind set it to be able to sell a an un even amount of an item to a shop. If this is correct could we have this set to TRUE.


Set the maximal distance (in blocks) to the shop where the player can see the hologram.
maximal-distance: 5

Set the maximal distance (in blocks) to the shop where the player can see the floatig shop item.
maximal-item-distance: 10

Set the price a player has to pay in order to create a shop You can set this to 0 to disable costs. Please set this to 0

Set the amount of shops that anyone who doesn't have a specific permission may have. Please set the value to -1. The default is 5


2. Creative world has disappeared. Needs to be fixed with the old world being added back or a creation of a new creative world.

3.PVP ranks do not actully define your ability to PVP. This is not so important as we have got a way around this for the time being but worth noting.

Social Media

On this front I'm happy to take control of most that side e.g. Facebook twitter. I'm also happy to sort out any of the advertising pages be it Planet MC etc. If ur happy for that and if anyone has no objections.

Other Server issues

We are looking to hire a few more Police before we open the doors again to help manage the hopeful influx of new players. As we currently only have two active Staff Team members: (Staff+) Mini and (Admin) Boxes.

We are also planning on moving the Spawn point for players closer to the Welcome Centre to help newbies navigate better.

The mall situation is that we are going to close the Mall for the time being due to the new chest shop plugin not working correctly. We also have plans to create a new mall with more shops depending on the level of new player we get. A temporary admin shop will be created in spawn for the time being.

Any other ideas or additions or changes to what we have said please let us know below.

The situation with the shop plugin is that for members to be able to use is they would need a permission that allows them to make shops in protected chests but the problem with that is that it would allow them to place a shop on any locked chest also even if they did not lock the chest in the first place.

the other part of it is config things that we should change if we can fix the first problem.

I will check if there any updates for shop chest plugin, it is somewhat new since both older shop chest plugins died and somebody just put this together quickly
