Minecraft Junkie

Ok just now I was checking on my kindle when the internet pulled up the dynamic map, which I thought was weird because it's not working. But a lot of people were on, and it said it still needed to be updated when I turned on my computer. I was really sad but at the same time I was still confused. Can someone please explain this to me?

Easy, the server hasn't updated to the new version and the people who are on the server are people who didn't update their clients like me, they're still using the same Minecraft version as the server

You are aware you can downgrade your client right?. If you don't know how Google it there's 1000s of youtube videos, walkthroughs etc out there
