New world creation

In the next couple of days, I will take some time off to create a new 1.7.2 world.
I will do it the hard way that way it will create completely clean world not dependent on any plugins.
I will re install the server software and let it generate new world. Then I will re introduce the plugins.
It will be default new world so people will spawn there. I will build a small protected space so users will not be able to go anywhere. I will put a portal directing people to the our spawn in the current pre 1.7.2 world .
So basically, you will spawn in it and go through portal to get back to the current pre 1.7.2 world to play and get ready for move.
Again, I don't like work associated with it but I think this will make it as clean as possible instead of generating a new world via game. Also it will generate new server properties file which we haven't redone in 3 years, we just keep on adding settings to it.
Also... my advise is to have nothing in inventory and put everything into your moving chest. Just because inventory plugin is dead and other ones having glitches. So just in case don't carry like bunch of crap on you when we ready to move to a new world.
Anyways, just wanted to give you heads up if you see server down for most of the day

wouldnt it be better to have it not be the default world so nico and i can start moving peoples chests over and in case someone finds a way out or something.

Kommy, make it a world, but don't make it the default. Unless right as you spawn in, you go to the other world. It'll just confuse people like mad. Set it all up - Let Boxes and I into it, then in Jan we'll set it as default.

also if we make it the default world then Defaults wont be able to get back to the current world because they cant travel between worlds so they would be stuck in a box.

Well, it is as simple as allowing defaults to use one portal in default world that takes them into our spawn. Basically I can put a small room with portal, I can even hid portal in the floor. They go accross and boom they in the current world.
I just really want to do this as proper as possible, no import via multiverse, none of that stuff, that way less chances for weird glitches or errors.
