Question about home camping and chests.

I killed a member in their home. They teleported back to me to get some blocks out of their chest before I could get them. They claimed this was legal since I was in their home, and the chest was 15 blocks away from where they would have /homed. I said I could have killed them before they got to the chest if they came in legitimately. They said it didn't matter, because that was home camping.
Did they have the right to TP back to me? Their final justification was that there were two block types that they couldn't get back if I took them. My thought are, "too bad. I killed you fair and square."

Not trying to be mean Gman. I just feel you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. In my opinion you are both in the wrong considering you killed "the member" after "the member" teleported you and "the member" is in the wrong because he teleported to you. You guys should get over and next time consequences will be given out.

If it was a death chest opening it is a act of aggression and gives you the ability to attack them the same as if they hit you after tp'ing back there

Clarification: Usually you are not allowed to spawn-kill a player at their house. There are exceptions of course. What mini was trying to show was about an act of aggression. If a player is trying to get into the chest that you killed him by, you may stay near the chest until you have said items. You may kill this player. I recommend setting a boundary by saying, "you come within 5 blocks of me and I will kill you". Hopefully this clears any confusion you are having.
