Minecraft Junkie

I don't know if this is an ongoing thing, or if it's just a momentary glitch, or if it's a problem with my items, but I can't combine an enchanted book with my pick. My pick was almost despawned due to this. It looks like it combines fine, but when I close my inventory, it falls out and reverts to its pre-combined state.

I think I've lost yet another Eff IV Unbr III Silk Touch pick this way today... I'm missing the one I've been using lately. Any chance that could be returned to me?

This is a bug in the anvil's estimation of XP required to merge enchanted items. Try doing it again but this time make sure you have an excess of XP above what it says it'll take.

Hmmm... will do in the future. Still bummed about my lost pick...
