Minecraft Junkie

I hear this is caused by AntiCheat. It's incredibly infuriating having to constantly log out and log back in because the server randomly decides that you're not allowed to hit anything anymore in the middle of being surrounded by mobs. I've almost died countless times because of this, as has several other players. Is there anything that can be done to solve this quickly?

Lots of people have this problem it's going to be fixed soon hopefully.

Also, something teleports me back to the top of the building I jump off. This would be at least tolerable if my velocity wasn't remembered and I didn't go slamming into the roof, losing health. I guess it's nocheat thinking that I'm travelling too fast.

Yeah, No cheat can be a bit of a pain, and recently it has been. But its a plugin we need so I hope everyone will be able to cope with it until the glitches with it are fixed

DoctorScurvy, I have noticed that too, I was never sure what was tping me back up. I wish there was a fix for it. It has been getting old. Most of the time I don't even fall that far and I get sent back. I wonder if it does the same for speed pots... Hmm...

Also, mining speed is reduced significantly by blocks that replace themselves immediately after I mine them.

Also, if I walk into a minecart with a chest in it, I get warped into the cart along with the chest and cannot get out by right-clicking because that just accesses the chest.

Yeah, as to the first one, anticheat does have a thing where blocks broken too quickly get replaced. Sometimes, even more annoyingly, the server doesn't show you the replacements, so you just get stuck when you try to move forward. This was SOMEWHAT mitigated when the game made it so that an efficiency pick doesn't break everything faster anymore, but not completely.

Now see, I always thought that was just lag, that is very depressing now, knowing that it's not something that Kommy can fix. (Unless we remove it and replace it with something else). I really wish this madness would stop Lol. I do find it very annoying, seeing as how I have a Eff. 4 pick, even with the only thing I'm happy it doesn't undo, is MCMMO, the mining is really nice, even though it can't be used with higher Eff. picks. I guess I won't be going up to an Eff. 5 pick any time soon, I bet it will be even worse...

In my experience, it really doesn't happen all that often. The only times I see it consistently is when something is affecting the natural mining speed.

Anticheat takes enchantments into consideration. There are just certain variables it seems to overlook. For example, try mining obsidian with an efficiency pick while standing in water, and almost every time it comes back. Mining the block you're standing on, while on an open cliff on 3 sides of that block, will result in a time where your client sees it as broken, but the server does not, and you can get pushed off. Sometimes, the server will replace the block, sometimes it won't, but you almost always get pushed. Trying to mine while moving in water will often see the block replaced as well.

Just learn to see the patterns, and work around them. It's really not much more than a minor annoyance, except for the mobs becoming invulnerable thing
