This an appeal to my demotion of the rank of VIP.

Appeal

a. The transfer of a case from a lower to a higher court for a new hearing.
b. A case so transferred.
c. A request for a new hearing.

I PMB-Pierce hear by appeal (definition 2) to the demotion of my previous rank VIP.
Reasons for this:
1. I am innocent to the accusation of x-raying.
2. The reason for demotion was unclear;vague.
3. My sincere actions prove innocence, not a guilt trip.

"3)If you are accepted, this does not mean you are above ANY server rules. In fact you are held to a higher standard than other users. Breaking any rule can result in a demotion, kick or ban, depending on the severity.
4)Also, at anytime, you can and will be demoted if the staff team feels that you are not properly doing your job, or are not living up to the standard we hold you to. We are a self moderating staff team, and we do not tolerate abuse among our ranks.
5)When we are looking for staff members, we look at VIP members before we look at regular users. Might come in handy some day."
4. The severity of demotion reasons are not listed therefore staff's opinion dictates rules?If so my actions are not under the severity list of demotion. 'Offenses against me,PMBFTW-X-raying,stealing, and Poor handling of grief case.'
Benefits to re-promotion of my Rank
1. More staff help/more people to help out the community.
Previous example of my reasons for re-promotion
Pmbftw-"For example: A default needs a place to stay but is unable to apply for member. Taking the journey from spawn to my house is pretty long where as with VIP a quick tp and I'm able to give some materials to help him out. That's why I feel I should have my rank back. If that isn't helping I guess I don't know what it means and the rank isn't nessecary(Idk how to spell that....). So I'm sure by now (or at least I hope) everyone sees what I'm getting at. I'm not a cheating, lying, stealing, igonorant jerk, I'm just another guy who wants to make this server and its members feel better and know when they need help they can get it. I believe that's a right EVERY Junkie member should have and if I were given back my rank I could ensure it."
Why I am qualified for re-promotion
1. I have legititmently met all requirements of VIP Application before;served in my opinion a great term as the rank.
2. Feel that the some junkie members would like me back as a VIP.(Since I am banned I request that someone [Staff+ {includes VIP}] asks a random member if I should be re-promoted; I applied to serve the people let's see what they have to say for a change.)
3. Being VIP allows me to help multiple people with the quick tp, use LB for grief cases (if I am re-promoted I will ask for help), use kick/jail/mute commands for their intended use, and moderate server when I am a sole staff member on (this rank bestows somewhat authority upon me to ensure members will listen to what junkie rule I am trying enforce. I am aware of this authority and will treat it with just as much respect as the staff who allowed me to have it.)

Closing Statements (personal comments)
1. I trust those members of staff, so trust me for this moment currently.
2. My re-promotion would result in a stricter attitude of the rank, yet maintaining of my friendly side.
3. Also, the improvement of previous behavior on the MinecraftJunkie server.( If I make one more mistake don't hold back on punishments if I disagree quote me and I'll need to find a new hobbie.
4. If this doesn't change current standings of my demotion then possibaly a temp demotion holding me at the standards of VIP testing if I could handle what I want to be put back into.
5. I hope everyone takes these words into my perspective and their own consideration.
6. I say this with utmost gratitude. I love minecraftjunkie and my re-promotion would increase my opinion of it and those opinions of others by my helping around and caring of them and their needs.
Junkie has given me a home, one that I wouldn't leave, and I plan on staying here. Please Junkie members, Staff, Admins, and anyone else who may be viewing this, allow my re-promotion of VIP because this isn't just a rank, it's a privledge, honor, and a wonderful tool for welfare of the junkie members those who I want to server! The least you can do is put them to use in the member PMBFTW.

If your using Definition 2 then you'll need an admin since an overlord was involved in your demotion you'll need; Korthic, Kommy000, Fabeth, or Purplez. I'll point this thread out to Korthic when I see him.

Just so you know it's against the rules to TP defaults.

I will say however in my opinion that this is probably the most well put together appeal I have seen on the forums. But I would not re-promote you to VIP until this whole X-Raying this is confronted and properly investigated. I'm going to look around myself today. If you truly were not X-raying then I have no problem voting to give your Rank back but if you were there is no chance.

On the going to defaults, I thought with the quick tp to defaults with VIP was legal.
Also I appreciate you took the time to read this and the fact you will bring this to Korthic/other admin.
If my rank is not returned expect me to apply again or think about the temp demotion. Really anything is better than being demoted. I will be on my best behavior and remember if I mess up again (if I'm given a second chance) don't hold back on punishments and once again I'll say quote me on what I said.

Last I was told (By another staff, Xero I think, maybe even Boxes) tp to defaults is fine, you just can't tp defaults to you. Anyway, I was also told to do that to check on them (Members are included in that rule as well.) Also, remember Dalton, Ken got his rank back, granted it was in another application cycle. But still, he got it back. I think this appeal alone would be enough to over-throw just about any punishment, (Expect X-ray. That's a different story) I do agree in the sense that until this is sorted out, (the X-ray) that he shouldn't receive his rank back. But, of any less of a punishment, he is well deserving of his rank back. Also, (though this is not my call at all) If this X-ray is sorted out, I think he should get all of his stuff back, assuming you have removed it already.

Well, Dalton, in my time of being staff (a long time), it has never been against the rules to tp to defaults. Since Defaults are (Somewhat) the most common rank to grief or so it would be foolish to ban the ability to tp to defaults. I approve of his appeal.

Who banned him? And what was his offense?

I wish to see evidence of this as I was never notified of this, probably because I have had a packed week.

I agree with the post above mine, Kenpachi Zarocki got his rank back after he X-rayed and he never even did an appeal as good as this (From my knowledge, link me if I'm wrong), it would be strange not to give PMB a second chance.

Let me just offer my own endorsement: regardless of whether or not the x-ray claim is valid, and barring this stealing thing, I have ONLY known PMB to work for the betterment of others and the server community as a whole. He has helped me in repairing some items, he built me my first real house, he has used teleport to help clear mobs and assist me in recovering items, and he helped me resolve a griefing issue to the best of his ability.

Additionally, I've seen him go out of his way to step in and mediate several conflicts maturely and effectively, he's always willing to help new players get a decent start, and I truly believe he is an asset to this community and worthy of some sort of role beyond "veteran" that will allow him to continue to serve the community.

OKay guys, just to awnser some of the questions here:

1) Pmb was temp banned, that is now over, and he was demoted for not only potential x-ray but stealing and bad handling of a case
I know nothing about the case but I know about the stealing and x-raying, what PMB took was as far as i remember a few small items. It was not the items that were taking that was the bad part, but the fact that vip's are held to a higher standard.
While the stealing was wrong, thats done with now, and pmb did leave a sign saying he took something, but thats not how it works "just a heads up for in the future".

2) vip's are aloud to tp To defaults, but are not aloud to tp defaults anywhere.

3) I personnaly see nothing wrong with pmb being re-promoted, as long as the x-ray case can be settled, but then pmb would need to be held at a slightly higher standard, basically, "1 strike your out type of thing".

Pmb, you are a good member of the junkie community who has just made a mistake or two recently, I hope that you can soon get back on top of things.

To Xeroline: I was 3-day temp banned for stealing something(still not clear what it was) and accused of x ray because I had dug a random tunnel and found diamonds then just tped home. They say I used the help of a mod, texture pack xray, or another cheating tool and I strongly disagree.
