bukkit plugins

I have a friend who is thinking of making a server and has played on this server as well and wanted to know some of the plugins you use. Can I have links and description of them?

In game type /plugins and it will show you the plugins.

Sax, go to the bukkit forums and look at those plugins, search essentials, it should be a good plugin to use.
It contains most of the needed plugins (Groups, protection, ETC) Then get WorldGuard and WorldEdit, these are mostly the most essentials ones.
Tell your friend to check the RAM the server runs on and how much RAM he actually has.
Just to say, these are good plugins.
