Obsidian is taken out because of griefing, I think we should enable it again. And if it's really that bad to enable it, enable it only for certain rankings, like Veteran. Obsidian is such a fun building material I love to use to make a mini nether. Post here if you agree that we should have obsidian.

We have already talked to Kommy about this, hopefully it will get enabled for us again.

Before Big Brother, we had Obsidian banned because it took such an irritatingly long time to destroy. After Big Brother, it was banned because we didn't want people building portals in the Nether (both the old Bukkit one we used to use in Asgard, and the vanilla Nether that we never got working). However, now we can easily clean up Obsidian, and we don't use regular portals to go to and from the Nether. Max said because of this, he may enable it soon.
