Minecraft Junkie

Poked around a bit and found new directions for using HD texture packs in Minecraft. Instead of reinventing the wheel, I will just paste the instructions here with a link to the HD pack I am using. You can grab it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/518097/Misa190.zip . If you have any questions please let me know.

Instructions:
1. Download from here.
2. Double-click mcpatcher-2.0.0-beta4.jar. You should see this:



If you see a list of folders instead, try Jarfix (Windows only) to fix your Java installation.
3. Click Patch. You do not need to select a texture pack at this point.
4. Start the game.
5. Click Mods and Texture Packs.
6. Click Open Texture Packs folder. If nothing happens, just go to the texturepacks folder in .minecraft instead.
7. Copy all your texture packs into that folder.
Enjoy switching between texture packs without repatching the game!

I tried to download but it gives me an error, and the patcher can't be opened with adobe reader, am I not supposed to open it? Im stuck lol

heh? why would you need to open it with adobe reader?

What program do I use to open it?
