spawn cauldron recipe?

hey guys i was walking around spawn today and found a voodoo area with a cauldron in the middle and blocks around the outside
im not gunna give anything away because some people haven't found it yet
i just have a question
is it the ORES or the ITEMS (ingots etc)
i hope its not the ores because a single creaper killed me (WITH full dime on) earlier while mining with my silk touch pick (unbreaking III) and it fell into lava ... sadface
