ok those who were on will be aware of this but to the rest here is some important information
--- PVP on the server has been turned off im not sure if they will be turning it on for arenas like thorn or not but for now there is no PVP at all on Minecraft Junkie.
just thought everyone should know (and im not in charge of this at all if you've got a problem take it up with Kommy)but thankyou for youre time.

first of this should most likely have been in server news. secondly yes pvp will come back for the arenas but that will take some admin magic for world guard and such so don't worry to much.

Did PvP actually have to get turned off because of the incidents involving this new player? That's a bit extreme if it is the case.. people should learn we already have PvP free places where you can build, why would it need to be turned off? I just think that PvP is one of the big parts of us being a 99% vanilla experience.

The PvP was turned off due to reoccurring incidents where Bane and multiple other players may have killed people, which lead to arguments with the Tp killing rule and overall caused capslocking, swearing and insult on our staff and a majority of our players. For keeping our chat calm and friendly to our younger users, I believe that is why they disabled PvP. And just keeping the general calmness of the server itself. Having PvP worldwide caused many cases of believed Tp killing, and just disrupted everything.

I like this as well, prevents people from coming over to me and ruining my fun when I'm trying to build. However, for others' sake we should have a PVP area, like an arena or something.

I will be fixing pvp areas very soon. We had that before when the whole world was no pvp and we had pvp areas. Also there is syberia thats pvp and once l4d world gets released, that will be pvp also plus the hardcore mobs
