You should be able to buy or make your own materials, then use those materials with permissions from staff or the owners of the track to split it off into the town.
But these aren't final decisions, and i'm not sure we're actually going to get rid of the world. We have builds like the catheradel, wouldn't it be a waste to just throw those out just like that? On the other hand, we are getting a new world, with a portal back to the main one. Otherwise we're getting a completely new world, with the old one stored safely somewhere.
I don't know for sure what's going to happen, but I know that there is going to be a new world.

Like I said Xero, the projects that we want from the 1.7 world could be copied and pasted onto the 1.8 world, like the Cathedral. I'm not saying to move everything over, but the huge projects should be. Also, we could come up with many different ways of transportation if railroads doesn't work. I know that the railroads idea most likely won't go through, but I was just suggesting an idea I thought was kinda different. I think using stargates the same way in 1.8 as we did in 1.7 would be just fine as well. But we just need to figure out a system for abandon stargate destinations to be decreased. Although I do think stargates remove the word "vanilla" in Minecraft quit a bit.

could we possibly just let the admins make towns, and important people, then we can choose which town we want to join. This way we have personal help in the new world and they can sort things out easier and with more consideration and their "adminlike" powers
I think VIPs with permission from kommy and sort are high enough rank to make towns and cities

That's actually a good idea too Frag. Like only Veteran and up would be able to make cities of there own. I don't know, there are many different possible ways we could go about it.

Are we not using warps for the new world? Because if we make a pvp area that will be a pain walking to.

we already decided to have all the worlds connected just like we have now. There are no plans for removing the old world or deleting old world.
As far as warps, new world will not have warps since it is an adventure mode.

We need a decent way to get Melon seeds. There will only be 3 abandoned mines per world, and whoever finds them will most likely take all the melon seeds. We need either:
A. A cauldron recipe
B. The ability to buy them at AdminShop
C. Implementing them in MCMMO

All you have to do is put a piece of a melon into the crafting window and it turns into seeds.. its very easy to get TONS of them
