Whatever happened to diamond block PS stones?

When the server was 1.7.3 and below, people could use diamond block protections to make their house secure. But ever since 1.8 they have been disabled? Why can I not place them and/or use them for PS stones? It is extremely annoying to try and roll back griefs with the gold block rather then having constant protection.

Can anybody (mostly Staff+) tell me why diamond blocks are disabled?

Well my guess is you did /ps off earlier.Try doing /ps on and then placing the diamond block.If you had a diamond block and never replaced it for some reason I believe precious have to be reset after an update. Also make sure your precious stone is not in or touching another person's precious stone field.

Currently we have had issues with Precious stones, since we removed Lapis for being buggy, it might be glitchy.
It might be what Drozknight said, try that, otherwise contact an admin for more information.

Yeah, I've tried turning PS off and back on again and I double checked that I wasn't touching any other fields.

I will look into it one more time.. but I believe the issue is the fields are touching.. if you have ANY other field from someone else in the area within 20 blocks from the diamond block it wont let you place it.. if you go out where no one is building it should work.. test it.

I cannot place it in any worlds even when there are no other fields near it.

I believe that p stones have been turned off in the latest update
