Hi I was temp banned for cutting down trees on Korthics property and leaving floating trees. I was going to fix floating trees but then Kor temp banned me for telling him to calm down. I was wondering why exactly I was banned because I makes little sense.

Publicly calling you (Korthic) out on this may be out of line, but I think it's necessary to avoid another situation like with Kimbo and Xaviens.

I'm not okay with this. This isn't a rule listed anywhere in the forums, website, or sign rules at spawn. This really just looks like a rule that's being made up and enforced only on Papi. If Papi was chopping down blatantly aesthetic trees in a town, then that would be considered griefing. That's a broken rule, that's completely fine. But you aren't saying Papi griefed, you're just saying he left the stumps, which meant that the trees were free to harvest for anyone. You don't have a problem with Papi cutting down trees, you just don't like how he's cutting them down.

Now if you do have a serious problem with all users leaving trees like that, I'm all for that. Leaving floating trees/tree stumps looks like crap. By all means, post on the forums that you're going to be enforcing this building policy, add a sign at spawn, etc. like we have for 1x1 towers, building near spawn, and such. Do the normal procedure that we take when adding a new rule. But until then, you're really just looking for an excuse to ban Papi because you don't like him. That's just not okay, and it's the exact thing that caused all of the drama between Kimbo and Xaviens last spring, which caused us to lose at LEAST five members (two of which did return, Caldrin and Nicolu most recently).

lol count this has nothing to do with having an excuse to ban papi.. I have MANY reasons to ban Papi.. I like him, I don't like him messin with everyones trees. He has been told many times and he continues to warp out to other towns and destroy the trees around them instead of just using a tree farm. I don't have access to add rules to the site or /rules ingame. We have told everyone and most people use common sense and its not a problem. BigPapi on the other hand continues to do this. He was only set to be Temp banned for a day (which I removed after 15min) because he was getting flippant with me and lying.

If I want BigPapi gone he can be gone at any time. I can put a nice list of things here he has done that we have perm banned people for. I just want him to keep the server and the towns nice and stop leaving floating trees.

By the way, I have signs up in my town and at my stargate. The Island and surrounding areas are MINE, I went out in the middle of nowhere and built my castle/town. I may have use for these places, I don't want people messing with it. He is aware of this and the rules, he just "thought you don't go to Kor" anymore. So it would be okay. I yelled at him because I am trying to get the point across, because talking nice to him hasn't worked. Papi has reached the line with me.. when he crosses he is done.

County, Korthic has also told me to cut down the remains of tree tops that me and my friends cut down for our tree house. I agree they look horrible and that there should be a sign implying that once you cut down some of a tree you must finish it. Also, whats these storys about kimbo and other people? I heard that the staff here know somone called kimbo that has his own server?
