Just to say the reason for the price is so people don't put it on and off all the time. same gose for the time and so people don't do it after say killing someone then turning pvp off.

Since when are we paying 1k for that? I thought we'd gotten rid of that. It used to be:
-Pay 1k to get it turned off immediately, but pay nothing and wait ~24 hours for it to be turned on
And we changed it to:
-Pay nothing since that was a stupid rule, and wait 18 hours both ways so whoever wants it changed has to wait until the next day.
Why isn't everyone doing this?
Also to answer your question, it's 18 hours because we want people to wait until the next day. 18 hours basically guarantees that they have to go to sleep and wake up the next day to have it changed, making it harder for people to abuse turning it on/off.
